what a treat today is!
i got to sleep in really really late,
goof the morning away and watch my silly guys
get themselves ready to go play paintball...
i watched them walk down the street together
and smiled. they're so huge. and yet still the
little boys.
the day is gorgeous out here. one of those
makes you glad to be alive days. and as i sat
here looking out at the yard and just lovin'
the day i got to thinking about how long it's
been since i've just had a 'i'm so glad to be
alive day' happen!
feels good.
then i thought of hurricane gustav.
oh man.
here my day is gorgeous.
and i'm thinking of people down south.
and it doubled my gratefulness right now.
it couldn't be a prettier day here.
and you just never know when a hurricane of
any sort will plow thru, do you?
i am absolutely gonna enjoy the moments today.
it's a gift.
and it really feels like it right now.....
