it's a rare thing to get zakkie bean all
to myself. sometimes it takes a dentist
appointment to get it~!
so we're drivin' home and he asks me
where i got my last name from.
huh???
ohman.
he makes me remember being 16 and bein
on my own planet.
the hygienist asked him and he THOUGHT
he knew.
(i changed my entire name a few years ago)
so i started laughing.
ZAKK!!! DON'T YOU REMEMBER THE WHOLE ENTIRE
COSMIC STORY?!
um.
no.
we both just start laughing. and let's face
it, there's too many to keep up with.
so i retell it to him...
and it is one of my top best cosmic stories
that i've got.
in it i say i won't decide until i get
affirmation from the universe. within an
hour, i have it.
i sigh at the end of the story and comment
on how that used to be a way of life for
me.
and he leaps into that.
now.
this is the kid who doesn't remember a thing,
right? oh no. he knows this one real good.
yeah, mom, what happened to you?
it's like you've gotten into a groove you need
to get out of.
hey!
wait!
i've been gettin' outta it, thankyouverymuch.
nope. not enough according to zakk.
and ya know, the kid is right.
and the best part of it all? the way he wants
me to be....the way i was just a bit ago...
is really goofy. it's a way i would think
would get on his nerves. it's so different than
the way he operates.
no. he misses it.
he thinks it's right for me.
that's the best part of the whole thing.
i got some flakiness to take back, i think!
