wasn't gonna blog this morning....
was just gonna get ready to go wander...
but! i got to!
today is the birthday of not just ONE but
TWO of my biggest heroes!
one's the musician, stevie ray vaughn.
i honestly believe that man changed my life.
his passion for what he does, and his ability
to let go of himself and let something beyond
him flow thru him, woke me up.
once you wake up i don't think you really can
go back to sleep. at least i couldn't.
and so my life took a turn.
the other hero, is my best friend and partner,
bob. he too has definitely changed my life!
i have never ever met anyone who has the strength
to face honesty like he does. his getting in
my face and staring at me until i can face
the honesty too has been way powerful for me.
i have come to believe that being honest with
yourself is one of the hardest things there is.
he teaches me how.
i am so tickled they share the day, these two.
stevie's gone, i can't let him know how much
he means to me.....
but bob......well i've got a couple days set
aside just for that.
happy birthday to two of the coolest men ever!
