so i got this great note this morning...
actually several great notes!!
in one of them, she suggested i go out and
look that construction worker in the eye
when i say good morning.
(this would refer to a blog a few down
from here)
(just not bein' able to look at someone who
reminds me of someone i lost cause it hurts
too much.)
she's right.
and i knew it.
so i put my stuff on and headed out.
oh.
it's rainin'!
that slows down the construction guys.
i knew i wouldn't see him.
and i didn't.
but there were a few out there. standin'
around it what's now the field....used to
be a woods....
i looked over, smiled, waved....
and even tho he wasn't there, i said hello
to him....in my heart.
because she was so right.
she said in him is all the goodness of the friend
who couldn't make it.
i cried when i read that.
and one thing i know for sure.....we have got to
embrace the goodness.
even if i never see that guy again, he and she
taught me a whole lot just now.
life is so darn full, ya know?
do you ever wonder if you'll get any of it down???
i sure do.....
thank goodness i have such great guides along
the way!
