i took a quick shower and came up with the
brilliant idea of toasting the kids at
breakfast and thanking them for all they
did with the oil tank adventure (see post
below).
i went in to make breakfast and searched around
for a container that looked like an oil tank.
i wanted to fill it with dark juice.
didn't have one. we'll just have to fake it and
use this.
i grabbed a blue vase-containery kinda thing.
no dark juice, just orange juice. more faking
it. that's okay. we can fake good.
yo yo walked in and leaned against the counter.
i ran up next to him and said 'smell my hair,
i smell wonderful!'
he pulled me in for a big hug and said 'you do!'
i grinned and said 'you too can smell this good
if you use the blue shampoo!'
we laughed.
then i held up the blue symbolic oil tank
container. zakk and josh had wandered in.
we gotta celebrate this morning, guys!
guess what this is gonna symbolize?!
yo brightened right away.
THE BLUE SHAMPOO!!!
i laughed so hard.
nooooooooooo...........
josh, my worldly one said 'rosh hashanah!'
there was a pause and then 'um, no, i mean
yom kippur!'
i grinned.
well we can do that too...but nooooooo....
zakk gave me that look that tells me once again
he's wonderin' how he got in this family.
he's game tho. he says 'it has to do with yesterday
since we're celebratin' this morning'
yes!!
a few more guesses......nothing close.....
so i had to tell them.
yeah. i did.
but once they knew, the all agreed that the blue
container with juice could absolutely be a symbolic
oil tank with oil in it!
they went right along with it.
it's a way of life...
i poured oil into the special oil tank wine
glasses and we all toasted the adventure.
there for a flash we were oil tycoons this morning!
