sky

the sky caught my soul and tugged at it
this morning.

i turned the corner onto my driveway and
stopped.

wow.

i got to the halfway point, said good morning
to the world, and couldn't tear myself away.
the sky was talkin' to me.

and then half way home i turned my head,
and the whole sky had just lit up.

i stopped, took it in and thought about my
heart.

i want my heart to do that.

turned back to the walk and thought....

when am i ever gonna really figure it out?
it already does. everyone's does....
we just have to let it.
we just have to stop coverin' it
and we just have to let it.....
