paint

josh was bright eyed and rarin' to go this
morning....i slept in late.
both he and yo came into my room when they
heard me wakin' up.

josh had paint chips in hand.

i just snuggled in and listened as he went
thru his paint choices.

i asked him about a color and he said he'd
rather have this other one because it was
'so much warmer and added to the richness of
the other color.'

huh?!
is this my son?!

i stopped.
looked up.
said "HUH?!"
and looked over at yo.
'yo, did you just hear him? is that your brother??
the richness of the color????'

josh grinned sheepishly.
'i'm just full of baloney.' he said.
'if i want something to go my way, i just throw
in the right vocabulary.'

i laughed.
we went with the warmer one that added richness
to the other color. what the heck.
it's josh's house!

he's so excited.
suddenly the speed has been increased.
i'm glad to see it.
he was way too calm before.
but they got some painting in last nite and
it's fueled josh's enthusiasm.
now he's really bouncin' off the walls.

the warm and rich color walls.

looks like we've got a full house painting day
today. what could be better?

yo and zakk said they'd give me an hour of
work time with me, then we'd all be off.....

i'm thinking yo and zakk need some really good
presents this christmas!
