it's gray out.
looking at the trees out my window,
it looks so still and deep.
thoughtful.
i have to turn to the rush of the day...
and yet that one tree....that tree leaning
over like that....it stops me. holds me
still.
knocks my soul to the ground with it's
still wisdom.
'don't worry about holding on or letting go...
just be.'
just be.
and the world stands still.
my soul fills up.
tearing my eyes from the tree, i tuck
it in my heart, and turn towards the day.
