still lost...

i sat out in my backyard this morning.
we've been goin' full tilt around here
tryin' to get tough angels up.
it's up.
and so i sat there just unwinding a bit.

looking at the sky.

and once again....when i have a moment to
breathe, i sit there and wonder what in
the world it's all about.

why are we here?
why so much pain when we all want love?

i sat there and looked at the edge of the
trees against the sky....

i'll never figure this out, will i? i thought.
i just gotta keep goin' and followin' my heart.

i know.
i know.
but it sure would be nice to know what in the
world this is all about....

i stood up, shook my head, and headed back in to
my day.
