another book.....

interacting with a customer yesterday led to him
pointing out a specific page in the book 'tuesdays
with morrie.'

having that one on my shelf, i ran up to look.

what he wanted me to see was this.......

'the most important thing in life is to learn how
to give out love, and to let it come in.'

i also found this on the same page.....

'love is the only rational act.'

i decided i needed to reread this book.
so last nite i curled in with it and began it all
over again. didn't get very far, but far enough to
know i definitely want to get lost in it again.

hmmmmmmm.......i tell ya, i gotta be honest......
fear seems REAL rational to me a lotta times.
grinnin' and serious all at once.
i really need to remember this stuff.

i want to read it with the intention of applying
the stuff to my own personal life....and.....and....
i want to see if i can apply it to how i'm feelin'
about the world.

cause i'm a little lost with the world and all its
pain and what to do with it.

i know.
like i really need to do something with it.

i just have to be.

i'm just not doin' so good with that.

i'll get there tho.
