having a conversation with beauty...

somebody raised these guys right.

i was all cozied in by the fire....skipped my
walk as it's icy out. didn't want to slip.
when there was a knock on my studio door.

it's noah. with his camera. hollerin' at me
to get outside with my own camera.

i tell him i don't want to take my camera out
in the weather. he's got a cute little rain coat
for his....

'put a plastic bag over it and get out here!'

i grin.

he talked me into it.

oh my gosh!!!!!!!

it was definitely like stepping into another world.
and then gettin' up close to everything and tryin'
to capture some of the beauty...it just made me really
see things as extra enchanting.

my fingers hurt so bad. but it was so worth it.

there's beauty all around....
and when you try to go talk to it, it really grabs you.

that's what it was like....like having a conversation
with beauty.

and i woulda missed it if noah hadn't hollered at me!
