how trapped he is.
stuck inside his cage of his own making.
trying to reach out a little here and
a little there....
to him they feel like major stretches.
to the world around him, they turn into
annoyances and disappointments.
he shows me clearly how it's up to us
to live. it's up to us to disassemble
the cage.
it's up to us to run after the good
stuff and catch up with it all winded
and holler 'i want in! i'm coming aboard!'
it's up to us to leave the cage behind.
