soul colors

took an early bike ride......
oh man do i love those.....

as i rode along i looked at the sky and
the trees and the color of everything and
thought 'i just want to smear this color
all over me.'

and then it hit me........
i think these are the colors of my soul.

yep. i do.
i'd like them to be more jazzy and flashy,
but i think it's the silvery blues and
the darker greens. the colors when it's
a bit overcast....the darker ones.....

i rode and thought about that.
when it's this color out i feel so completely
connected. figure it's cause my soul's gotta
be similar colors.

hmmmm....
what color is your soul and why?

did you ever wonder???

I think that our aura is a part of our soulful consciousness; that its the sensory apparatus of our intuition. Anyway, if that's so, then there's books about the aura that are kind of fun to peruse. I especially liked an oldie called What Color Is Your Aura? by a woman named Bowers or something along those lines. Fun book. I saw my own aura with my eyes and not a kirilian camera about ten years ago during a healing treatment. It was a incredibly beautiful shade of lilac and it kept having brilliant green color shooting through it. I was enchanted...I can still see all that color now as if was happening now. Pretty neat.

I enjoy your musing...

Ahhhh...but in aura language (soul colors) the silvers, blues and greens are the colors of serenity, peace, truth, communication, the sky, the earth, the stars, light, abundance, fertility, creativity, foundation and love....

I can't think of any other colors more perfectly suited to your soul than silvery, blue and green.....

Soul colors, what a beautiful thought, I think it might be that our aura is a reflection of us as we show up in the physical, of course it can also display the colors of our higher subtle bodies as well, the emotional, mental and light bodies. Yet our soul itself may very well reflect and shimmer it's own variation of this amalgamation. Maybe our more persistent/consistent hues not in flux and ever changing as our auras are.
If my soul has it's own specific colors I'm feeling they might be shades of violet and lilac, infused with some blue and perhaps just a small shot of pink infused throughout.
This is why I don't come here more often and play, I end up writing a book instead of a comment. Loved yours my friend.

This is a hard one for me, b/c I love all colors. And I really mean all. I love love love those happy Indian weddings with their red/magenta/gold saris. I love the Greek 'white islands' with their brilliant blue/green/yellow and white. I love the dreamy frilly romantic colors of dreamy white/light pink and a white wash feel to it.

And I just finished reading the other comments and I'm going to have to go get that book :)

hey Ter,
I always felt I was the color of the sunset. My house reflects that, as do most of my clothes. When I am washed in the colors of a sunset, I def feel connected.

When it comes to chakras, blue is for your throat chakra - communication (!) and green is your heart chakra - love (!!). I think those are perfect colors for you!
